what? wasting your time explaining the situation after we addressed it multiple times? there is an easier way to say this, and i will do it, because there are only two words i really want to say to you;

“How formal. Heh. But, just ‘Bill’ will do. Anyway— It can be. There are a lot of responsibilities that come with being a high ranking officer in the army. To show ”weakness” and such, even when one of your men loses their life, is not an option.”
“Why exactly are we so excited to do the work of a janitor..?”
Anonymous asked: Ah, all these stories about you and Fox on the Academy sound very interesting! But I wonder where Slippy has been over this time. Wasn't he one of your childhood friends with Fox?
“Slip?”
“He went to the academy as well. We didn’t share a room with him, but we did hang out. Even then, as almost always, he was being picked on a bit. Of course, me and Fox were there to help him out when it did happen to get out of hand.”

“Oh. Well… Yeah.”
“When he received the news about what had happened to his father, he kind of—… Hm. He was just so set on revenge. I didn’t really get to see the change all too much myself. Poor guy was so distraught, he left the academy the next day.”
